Pro Tips:

Pro Tip:
Don’t forget to use the down, down, up picking.
This power chord exercise uses the eight note two sixteenth note rhythm pattern. It’s often called a gallop, or horse gallop rhythm. Its important to use a down, down, up picking pattern with this one.
This exercise begins with a standard Bb power chord shape that is on the sixth fret sixth string. The second chord moves to a D power chord from the fifth fret fifth string.
The third chord is an F power chord which is on the eighth fret fifth string. The last measure is a C power chord on the eighth fret, sixth string.
Palm mute all the sixteenth notes in the chord progression. Its common to accent each eighth note in a pattern like this, but it’s not necessary.
