I-IV E Major
Accent beats two and four.
Notice the key change that is happening from the major chords to the minor chords, E major to E minor.
This chord progression is based off of the first chord and the fourth chord in the key of E. If you look at the notes in an E major scale you have E F# G# A B C# D# E. Build a chord from the first note and the fourth note in the scale. You get and E chord (E G# B) and an A chord A C# E) . That is the first two chords in the progression.
The next part is the same two chords except changing both of them to minor. So then you get E minor (E G B) and A minor (A C E).
That is the idea with this progression. The I and IV chord and then the I minor chord and the IV minor chord. Strum one measure of eighth notes on each chord with alternate picking.
