ACDC Style Rock Riff
Pro Tips:
Pro Tip:
Make sure that all the strings are quiet through the rests.
Use some distortion to get a good rock sound.
This is a four measure rock riff in the style of AC/DC. Start this riff on the open E power chord. For this chord play the sixth string open, and the fifth and fourth strings all at the same time. Let the E chord ring for a quarter note and then stop the notes for a rest on beat two.
Play the sixth string open on the off beat of two and then the second fret on beat three. The off beat of beat three play the sixth string open again and then the third fret on the sixth string. The off beat of beat four is an open A power chord, and it rings though beat one of the next measure.
Rest on beat two of the second measure and then play the A chord again on beat three. Move to the third fret on the sixth string with your second finger. You can bend this note slightly downward for a rock vibe.
Measure three is the same as measure one, Bar four is a variation of measure two. The A chord still rings through beat one, with a rest on beat two. On beat three play a D chord. On beat four play an A power chord.
