This lesson pack includes 14 essential mixed major and minor pentatonic blues rock phrases starting with easier licks that gradually increase in difficulty. Video examples for each lick fast and slow, Backing Track, tablature and notation pdf, scale charts for all of these scales, and a GUITAR PRO FILE INCLUDED!
These licks are setup in sets of two back to back phrases, using all three scale types, minor pentatonic, major pentatonic, and the blues scale. This approach will help you learn how to find the distinctions between each scale type and how they can be used together over a A7 chord. The backing track I made is all just A7 as well, that way you can practice this without having to worry about chord changes and really get the sound and the feel of this type of playing in your ears and under your hands. Practicing scales, licks and phrases this way is really great for building your speed, accuracy, and overall technique.
